Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have
I think one of the main habits that I have that I would really wish that I didn't have would be always wanting to get the last word in...Sometimes I let my tongue get the better of me. I don't think before I speak. I'm slowly...SLOWLY working on this. After all there are a lot of verses in the Bible that tell us that the tongue is hard to tame (James 3:8 "no one can tame the tongue), that the tongue makes grand speeches but it can have a tiny spark that will start a forest fire (James 3:5)Basically James 3 talks about how hard the tongue is to control and that we need to guard what we say...That would be the Habit that I wish I didn't have...

I appreciate your efforts Beautiful! There is that fine line between controlling the tongue and still sharing necessary thoughts and emotions. I fall on the other problematic side where I hold things in so that my tongue never speaks with harshness. On rare occasion I lose my capacity to hold my tongue and that can be quite devastating. I love you Beautiful!
