hmmm...so what am I feeling?

Feeling??? What I'm I feeling?
I honestly DON'T have just one feeling going on or even just a handful. I think almost EVERY feeling is going on in my mind or has in the last little bit...or will in the near future. So there are 60 feelings/emotions on this...I just went through the list and I have been 25 of these feelings very recently. Here are the usual feelings for a pregnant women about to have a Baby Girl within the matter of 1 week...
~Anxious -- Doesn't most pregnant women go through this?
~Nervous -- I'm having a Baby Girl...after having a little boy (more nervous about the way our culture is changing and having a girl...need I say more)
~Impatient -- Even though I have a countdown...5 days until Mom & Sister come, 6 days until I see Baby Girl
~Miserable -- See Below picture...it feels like hasn't "dropped" into the pelvic cavity but moved out from my body.Picture taken today...after mom told me to send her a pic of my belly.
~Excited -- Hmmm...5 days until Mom & Sister come, 6 days until I see Baby Girl
~Loved -- Even though my hubby has been in Mt. Ayr during the week...I still feel loved and very blessed to be his wife. Also "Z" either knows that something is about to change and he is trying to get all the "cuddle time" that he can...today while getting my OMM treatment (to help my back) he climbed up on the table and started driving his car on me as well as just nuzzling his head against my arm. I know that he won't remember how cute he was...but I'm hoping that he is still cuddly after his baby sister is born.
~Fortunate -- 2 days until my husband is back in Des Moines to stay for a while! 5 days until Mom & Sister come. I have a great church family! I have lots of support with the signifcant others group at DMU. I have a God who loves me and provides ALL of my needs as well as my family!

so I'm proud...

so I'm posting this blog and truly know that you are going to say that is a waste of my time...
ALL WELL!
But I'm NESTING! The cleaning has officially taken over when my little "Z-Man" goes to bed. Well this past weekend we re-arranged our furniture in the "family" area. So I have been working hard during the past couple nights. Getting Baby Girl's clothes and blankets and hair things all "organized" and the "great" area all cleaned up...SO I ended up taking some pictures because I think being a week and a half away from C-Day and pretty amazed that all that has happened...so I'm sorry that I was boasting on what I got done...now I'm off to bed...SO tired and a little sore and I'm sure that "Z" will wake up early like he has been doing for the past 2 mornings...
Just in case you were wondering Baby Girl's blanket is 12 blocks away from being done...I'm hoping to get a LOT done tomorrow seeing that I only have 2 things on my to do list (that would be go to the Library and get some different movies and knit!) as well as make sure "Z" has food to eat, something to drink, gets some interaction of course...but overall it should be a very relaxed day for me. YEAH!!!

Colorado or BUST!

So today is the day we are heading to Colorado for Rick's rotation in Lake City. I'm so excited that we will be able to be there AS a family for 4 weeks! So the bags are all packed...they are waiting for Rick to get home (any minute now) and hit the road. "Z" is still awake SO the ideal way to travel is for him to fall asleep in the first stretch. Get out for dinner play a little, get back in the car watch a movie, get out one more time for a stretch and then hopefully Z will go down for night-night in the car before we get there.
Yesterday at the Doctor's appointment (for me and the baby girl)...I'm currently three-fourths of the way there. Which means only one-fourth left to go. (That puts me over 30 weeks) Baby girl's heartbeat is in the 150s, strong and happy and I'm measuring actually 32 weeks-ish along. I know that the more kids you have the bigger you end up getting but still...it feels like baby girl doesn't even have enough room to move (she's always pushing up against me and everything!) Here is a picture of me and the baby girl. I have other pics of "Z" and the roses but I haven't downloaded them and such!Well Rick is NOW home and the stuff is loaded up SO I better get this posted and off to CO we go!!! I'm hoping to keep up at least on "weekly" maybe more post while we are in Colorado.

Thankful Thursday!

Hello readers...I'm sure I could come up with a better blog title...however this is just easy.
First off -- I'm Thankful (I'll explain more about that later)
Secondly -- It's Thursday!

Reasons I am THANKFUL! (these are in NO particular order)
~ Today I'm celebrating a special day with my husband! 4 years ago today we stood in tree groove in the Rocky Mountain National Park and said our vows to love and cherish each other for ever. We only had 7 people there total; Rick's parents (Tom & Jean), My parents (Keith & Susie) and Matt (the photographer). One of my dreams growing up was to have my father not only give me away but marry me. Which that happened...I was so thrilled! On our Wedding Day!!!
~ Another person in my life that I'm thankful for is my son! He will be 2 years old in 15 days! He's no longer my baby! He's learning new words everyday. He's sleeping in a big boy bed and goes there with ease for his naps and for bedtime. He LOVES cars, trucks, planes, trains & balls!"Z" Playing with an airplane on daddy's legs.
~ I'm also Thankful for the Baby Girl that is growing inside of me (I know not every woman has the ability to do this...so I count it as a blessing!) I'm thankful for a the ability to get a go ahead on going to Colorado in less than 4 weeks FOR 4 weeks. I have passed the glucose test...YEAH! Right now I'm 28 weeks...The little girl has been moving and grooving inside of me (which is by far my favorite!) and she had a strong heart beat in the 150s yesterday at the doctors office. According to the baby center website...she weighs 2 and quarter pounds and measuring around 14.8 inches, her eyesight is developing as well as developing billions of neurons in her brain, and she is packing on the fat to help her for life on the outside world.A Chinese Cabbage (about the size of the Baby Girl)
~ I'm thankful for my family...parents, in-laws, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins...I'm thankful for all the love, prayers and support that you have given to me and my family!
~ I'm also thankful for my blogland friends...friends that I don't think I'll ever meet in real life...but I'm so glad I have you in my life. To read your blogs with your insight or to have you leave comments on my blogs it really is a blessing in my life!
~ I'm also SO thankful for my God who sent his Son, Jesus down to die for my sins; and he STILL loves me through my past mistakes, my present struggles and my future trials that I know I will go through.

Headache update: I thought I would do an update on my health...I have been still having headaches but they have gone done quite a lot during the week. Instead of me suffering like 5 days a week...I'm suffering like 3 days of the week, and now with the proper medicine I can get it before it gets horrible. I'm so thankful. I have been able to make sure I get plenty of sleep and plenty of water during the day...and that seems to help along with the ability of finding my "triggers" And I also found out that heat helps take the pain down.

So thanks for reading...I hope that you have a great Thursday...if you have time could you please at least list something that you are Thankful for this Thursday!

Happy Friendship Day!

~First of all Happy Friendship Day...Thanks for being my friend and reading my blog. Also if you have been "stalking" my blog PLEASE take some time and just leave a comment so I can meet you!

~~Second of all I want to tell you how much CELEBRATING that we get to do in August...
In our immediate family there are 4 Anniversaries (including ours!)
In our immediate family there are 5 Birthdays (including little "Z-Man's")
Our little family of 3 is going to be going to COLORADO for 4 weeks at the end August!
Our little family gets to go to the Iowa State Fair this year (the first year-I arrived to late, the second year-I was 9 months pregnant, last year-I couldn't talk Rick into taking us) THIS year I talked about how Z would LOVE to go and see the animals and everything so we get to go!!!
Our brother (in-law, David) is back in the United States for his R&R from Iraq for 15 days!!!

~~~Third & Lastly, I am so enjoying this age that my son is at!!! He makes us laugh, he is learning a lot of new things (colors, animals, words, etc.), he knows where his baby sister is and he likes to pull up my shirt and give her kisses and hugs through my skin. He loves to cuddle with us & he sat through his first movie yesterday.
I hope that you had a great weekend and GOD Bless!
