Family Photos...

We are SO grateful to know Christia Palizzi from HERE! She is actually a wife of a medical student here at Des Moines University. She is also a mother, knitter, friend, sister, daughter, blogger, along with many other things. I was able to win a free photo session from her (because she had a contest) and seeing that Aspen's birthday and the holiday season were both upon us she offered to do split it and do a family session (outside - because the weather has been beautiful) and then a studio session with Aspen. So here are a few pictures from those sessions. PLEASE do NOT print these...if you would like them please contact. IF you are family...maybe you are getting some for Christmas!

It's all about Z and his new big bed!

Lewis books ALL week long!We are looking at the mapThen we cuddled! I'm going to love just in case we have to lay in bed with my little Z-Man (he's been laying on his crib mattress for a while now...TOO small!)

We have discovered that there is hardly ANY pictures with me and the kids. And after we watched "Life as We Know It" last weekend...we decided we need more pics of me with them! :) It is a really good movie, a little sad but it shows that about life and sometimes life is sad.

So I haven't written since I have done my "book report" I just uploaded some pics today and wanted to share some stuff with you, my dear readers...

Thankful Thursday...
Seeing that it is Friday, I can still write that I am thankful for stuff even though I am a day late.
1) Thankful for meeting new friends (I really owe that to MOPS...what a lifeline!)
2) Thankful for a loving & supportive husband (who is also a WONDERFUL father to my son)
3) Thankful for seeing my little boy (who will be 18 months tomorrow!) who is growing and oh so fun to be around.
4) Thankful for the ability to create.
5) Thankful for a God who loves me.
6) Thankful for the ability to blog & write ideas.
7) Thankful for my family who I can feel their support, prayers & love.

My Valentine's Day Weekend...
So usually I am not a big let's go all out for Valentine's Day. BUT my husband had the idea to plan a big thing for us. So on Saturday we had a lot fun. He treated me to getting a pedicure. (Rick had "Z" at the moment) We went to Gong Fu Tea (my FAVORITE place in the East Village), we went to the Half-Price Book Store...THEN we were able to drop off "Z" AND then we grabbed a quick bite to eat, went to Barnes & Noble (Rick let me get 2 new knitting books) THEN we had our funny, laughing time at Funny Bone. We were able to pick Z up and then headed home. Pic of Rick & I belowOn Sunday I was teaching preschool SO I was able to spend it with some Valentine's that are oh so cute! "Z" has became a climber. He is LOVING the ability to get up and see things at a different level. JUST today he decided that he was done cuddling with me on the couch after he woke up from his nap. SO I found him here...(pics below)
My little happy guy (most of the time) Teething is happening so we have are good days & our bad days...BUT mostly the good days out number the bad ones. OR on the bad days he makes it all worth while and makes my heart melt just like the very first time I heard his heartbeat when he was in my womb and even when I heard him first cry after he was born. My dear son, Ezekiel Thomas Cadman how I love you oh so much...thanks for making my life more joyable. And to my husband, Rick, thanks for being such a great & loving husband, and a wonderful father.
Tomorrow night is the night that Des Moines University has there Gala (or Medical School Prom) so stay tuned for pics on that...

Well...today is Friday...The weather is beautiful outside. I am really excited about the wonderful temperatures about this weekend. I smell going out and taking family pictures...

I am now working on knitting "Z" Bronco color longies...that way he will be comfortable and stylish at the same time. "Z" is walking more and more on his own...HOPEFULLY I will remember to take a video of it and put it on here for your viewing pleasure. He sure does crawl fast and still prefers that as his mode of transportation. Fphoto Friday!

Before we head out for our Labor Day Family Camping Trip...I thought I would put up some pictures for my blog readers.

So if you think of us this weekend. Please pray for us...we have been camping before with "Z" but the last time, he just sat there and didn't move around to much. HOWEVER, he moves around a lot and I am sure we will be like a broken record saying "Z, please don't go there or Z, no thank-you." I am ok with telling him no (I usually do it during the day) HOWEVER, Rick isn't used to being around him. PLEASE pray for patience and that we will have an awesome time (just like we did last time!)

This picture is from the long weekend that "Z" & I took to Florida. We had a lot of fun discovering that "Z" loves the water! I had a hard time taking pictures while I am in the water...so this is "Z" on a really big raft floating in my parents pool. (Don't worry my mom is right there...you just can't see her!)

Here is a photo of my the Rapp's 4 generation. We were able to get it while we were in Colorado for Rick's Spring Break.

It was taken in Color...but with my NEW software I changed it for a classic look. I think it's funny how everyone is smiling and "Z" is like a deer in a headlight look. Gotta love him.

This is a birds nest that we can see from our front window. It is so interesting. It's not round at the bottom it's a triangle. SO interesting
