Doc has come into possession of a curious book that maps the lives of everyone in Bay City—decisions they’ve made in the past, and how those choices affect the future. Mercy and Doc are consumed by the mystery locked between the pages—Doc because he hopes to right a very old wrong, and Mercy because she wants to fulfill the book’s strange purpose. But when a mysterious stranger shows up, Mercy begins to understand she may have to choose between love and loneliness . . . or good and evil . . . for the rest of her life. "
Back to Katrina here...I did find it a little difficult to read this book. I believe that if I'm not "hooked" by the 2nd or 3rd chapter than I'm not going to get hooked in it to. That is the way this book was for me. I just really never got that into reading this book. From what I read of the book; it was readable and easy to follow but the plot just didn't get me. I might give if some time...and try again. If my review changes I will re-blog and let you know what I think.

I did this book too, you can find my review on my blog. I agree, it was very readable but not really my type of story. I enjoyed it as an "easy read" though, it actually is pretty hard to put down later on.
ReplyDeleteHope all's going well for you as you settle into live as a family of FOUR!! :)
