Well I hope this finds you all well. So far this summer has been very interesting. After I was done with my nanny job, Rick and I took a vacation to Colorado. We went by Amtrak and it was a lot of fun. If you would like a different way to travel and you have flexibility then the train is the way to go.
In Colorado we stayed with Rick's parents. We were able to visit our friends up in Greeley, down in Colorado Springs and even in Lake City. On Sunday and Monday we went up to Greeley to visit friends and we also visited Rocky Mountain National Park (where Rick and I got married almost 2 years ago). On Tuesday we took it easy and met some dear friends for some fellowship. On Wednesday through Friday, we took the long trek down to Lake City. Oh the fun we had in Lake City. I had a very good time visiting my Redcloud family...seeing that it has been at least a year since I have seen them all. I also have a dear friend who took photos of me. Just a lot of visiting sites, stores, and people. It was a good trip not a whole lot of planning, but enough to make my husband happy.
When we got back to Des Moines, we went ahead and started the moving process. We are currently out of our place right by DMU and in a 2 bedroom apartment in West Des Moines. We are currently working on emptying boxes and getting everything where it needs to be.
Lastly, in a week and a day (next Thursday) I will be going on a plane and flying down to see my parents new area of living...FLORIDA! I am so excited. My family is excited too. I am sure there will be pictures when I get back that I will put up.
The baby is now at week 31. He/she is moving around a lot and making life very interesting at times. Rick and I have been enjoying the times where we can spend together feeling the baby move, talking to the baby, and reading stories to the baby.
