Baby Ezekiel 7 Weeks

We are so excited to let you all know that Ezekiel is growing. He went to the doctor earlier this week, he ended up getting 3 shots and another vaccine via mouth. I keep praying that God will use those vaccines for Z's good and health and not for evil in his body. The doctor said that Z is growing very well for being strictly on breast milk. Z's birth items were 8lbs 1oz and 21.25in. On Monday he was 10lbs 2oz and 22.5in. I really can't believe it! He is getting so big and changing so much. He is cooing and talking as well as holding up his head and smiling a LOT. I really think that he just finds us very funny. :)
Rick is doing really well in his schooling. However in the next couple weeks Rick has any where from 1 exam to as many as 4 exams in one week. Yes they might not all be written, they might be more hands on...but they will still have lots of studying and preparing for it. Which then means that he will be spending less time at home with Z and myself. A lot of times when that has happened then Rick feels bad that he is not at home and helping out. So please pray for Rick (his studying, his emotions, and his endurance with his learning and with his spiritual life) during that time. If you want to know when he specifically has exams then please e-mail me then I can tell you when those are. (If you would like to call Rick his cell is 515-868-2972 or richard.w.rapp@dmu.edu to give him encouragement)
I would really like to learn more in these next little bit. Learning how to be a great mom for little Ezekiel. Learning how to be a great wife to my husband as he studies in the field of Medicine. Learning how to grow closer to the heart of God. Learning how to get my health in gear. (Both Rick & I are hoping to join Weight Watchers here in the next couple weeks)
Here are some ways that you can pray for us...
1) Rick's studies on Medicine and learning how to remember everything he studied
2) Rick's health during this stressful time
3) Ezekiel growing and becoming strong and finding his own character
4) Katrina becoming a Proverbs 31 woman
5) Our little family to learn more about each other, and the traveling we will be doing during the Thanksgiving time to the Andreoni clan in Wisconsin and during Christmas to Florida to visit Gramps & Grammy.

Well I hope that you all had a great day! We sure miss having family around. Thanks for your love and support!
God Bless!
