10 things I did in Florida!!!
I guess there is a good thing why I waited to tell you about my Florida adventures. I don't think I would have been able to come up with something to say for the 10 on the 10th if I already blogged about it. My life is seeming pretty boring lately or I'm in a blog funk.So I'm joining in with my good blog friend Meredith at Life at 7000ft. You can also see others who joined in on the fun.
Alright back to the Florida (which I miss so much right now...because here in Iowa it's 48 degrees and has been raining off and on all day!)
1st off -- our delay flight and flight adventure started us out with a real bang. If you haven't read it take a time to read it now HERE.
2nd off -- we LOVED the pool!!! Almost every day we went in the pool. That might become a better reason on this list. :)
3rd off -- we did a day of shopping because Grammy needed to spoil her grand babies...to keep them both covered. :) YEAH for packing light!
4th off -- it was nice every day that we were there...the sun was shining and it was very warm out. It was only really, really hot 1 day!
5th off -- we loved the grilling that Gramps did...and "Z" loves corn on the cob!6th off -- we got to go to a bonfire and it was missions weekend at my parents church (my favorite!) although at the bonfire I got EATIN' ALIVE. Gratefully "Z" was not eatin' alive.7th off -- we went to the Central Florida Zoo (it was HOT that morning, but we got in free with my Blank Park Zoo membership) it is a smaller zoo and we had a lots of fun with some of the animals...8th off -- we had a great time sleeping there (night time and naps!), even though we were on vacation, "Z" slept very well and has adjusted to being home rather easily. :) YEAH for a laid back little boy.
9th off -- we got to go to the beach and have fun. Except "Z" was a little bit sleepy and as he was playing in sand he would rub his eyes...then he got sand in them. :((at the Fish House for dinner)With Grammy & Gramps!
10th off -- we LOVED the pool and playing in it and laying in the sun (at least I did...and on Saturday while "Z" was napping a couple of friends came over and enjoyed the pool.)
Beach vacations are my favorite! Looks like you all had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI've never been a beach girl, but your post has me wanting to plan a trip to Florida! Seriously. It's 44 degrees and dreary today...and snow is supposedly on the way. The beach has NEVER sounded better. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good trip. And glad there was no airport drama (trauma?) on the way home.
your son is ADORABLE!!!! Can't wait to see what your next kid looks like, you guys make cute kids!
